People interested in our Core Certified Sex Coach training program often ask: “How does your program compare to others in the field?” While we appreciate the curiosity and understand the importance of finding the right fit, we believe it’s crucial to approach this topic with a sense of openness and respect for the unique offerings of each program.

In this post, we’ll discuss our stance on comparing sex coach training programs and emphasize the importance of focusing on the distinctive elements of the Core Certified Sex Coach training program. We’ll also explore the idea that the right students will naturally be “called in” to the program that resonates with them, and encourage prospective students to consider their individual goals and values when evaluating different sex coach training options. So, let’s dive into the exciting world of sex coach training and discover what makes our program truly unique!

Why We Don’t Comment on Other Sex Coach Training Programs

At Sex Coach U, we believe that every sex coach training program has its own unique strengths, approaches, and philosophies. And different programs will appeal to different people. We refrain from making direct comparisons or commenting on other programs for several reasons.

First and foremost,  we have not personally experienced the curriculum, resources, or teaching methodologies offered by other sex coach training programs. Without direct exposure to these programs, we believe it would be inappropriate and inaccurate to comment on their quality or effectiveness.

We also believe it’s more important for us to stay focused on our own program’s distinctive offerings. Our primary objective is to provide the best possible education, training, and support to our students. As such, we choose to concentrate on continually improving our own curriculum, teaching methods, and resources, rather than focusing on the offerings of other programs. This commitment to our own growth and development allows us to maintain a high standard of quality and ensure that our students receive the best possible training in the field of sex coaching.

We “Call In” The People For Whom We’re the Right Fit

We recognize that each individual interested in becoming a sex coach has unique goals, values, and preferences when it comes to selecting a training program. With this in mind, we trust that students will be drawn to the program that most aligns with their personal and professional aspirations.

We believe that students who resonate with our program’s holistic philosophy, our talk-only approach, our adult learning model, and our vibrant community will naturally be attracted to our Core Certified Sex Coach training program. This alignment helps create a learning environment where students feel supported, inspired, and empowered to achieve their full potential as sex coaches.

Each individual’s journey is unique. People have diverse preferences and requirements when it comes to selecting a sex coach training program that works for them. We respect each individual’s right to explore different options and find the program that best aligns with their personal and professional goals. By doing so, we hope to foster a positive and inclusive community of sex coaches, each with their own unique skills, experiences, and perspectives to offer their clients.

The Field is Rich with Diverse Methodologies and Philosophies

Some sex coach training programs are talk-only (like Sex Coach U), while others embrace touch and/or nudity in the delivery of their services. Still others teach participants how to blend these approaches.

You may prefer a program that takes a more esoteric approach. Or perhaps a more clinical practice appeals to you more.

At Sex Coach U, our approach is holistic, but not esoteric. Our training is evidence-based and clinical, but we don’t fit into the more traditional medical model. We train our students to de-pathologize sexual concerns and to take into account all of the areas of a person’s life that may be contributing to their sexual concerns.

The teaching methods of each program are equally diverse.

We believe this diversity contributes to the growth and evolution of the field as a whole. This variety allows sex coaches to tailor their approach to the unique needs of their clients and helps create a more inclusive and effective practice.

The truth is that the people seeking our help are going to differ in the approach and style they’re most comfortable with. So having a variety of types of sex coaching ensures that each client can find someone with whom they resonate. That connection will help the client make more progress than if they work with a sex coach who is not a good fit for them.

It’s also important to remember that there aren’t nearly enough trained, competent, ethical sexuality professionals out there to work with the number of people in need of assistance. So while the different training programs may seem to be competitors, the fact is, we all have a place and can help different clients. The world desperately needs more well-trained sexology professionals.

Comparing Sex Coach Training Programs: Do Your Research & Find Your Perfect Fit

As we embrace the differences among sex coach training programs, we encourage prospective students to take the time to research and evaluate the various options available to them. By exploring the unique offerings, philosophies, and teaching methods of each program, students can make an informed decision about which training path aligns best with their personal and professional goals, ultimately leading to a more fulfilling and successful career as a sex coach.

When evaluating different sex coach training programs, prospective students should consider the following factors to ensure they make the best choice for their personal and professional growth:

  1. Curriculum and teaching methods: Review the course content and teaching methodologies of each program. Consider whether they align with your preferred learning style, values, and goals.
  2. Faculty and support: Look into the qualifications, experience, and expertise of the instructors and support staff. A strong team can be a valuable resource in your journey to become a sex coach.
  3. Accreditation and certification: Check if the program is accredited by a reputable organization and whether it provides a recognized certification upon completion.
  4. Student testimonials and reviews: Read about the experiences of past and current students to gain insight into the program’s effectiveness and the level of support provided.
  5. Community and networking opportunities: Consider the program’s community and networking opportunities, as these can be important for building professional connections and obtaining support throughout your career.
